Sorry for the lack of updates

I've been really busy with school lately, I hope I can get another update within the next week or so, but I might be buying Sims 3 on Friday (I've had 2 years and I only just get around to buying it. Shame on me!), so that could mean more delays, or more updates.

Anybody interested in also having a Sims story to go on the blog?

A little boy at last!

Today Ayla and Daisy were having fun chasing each other back and forth, until they eventually wore themselves out, then they went and did their own thing, but I have a feeling these sisters are going to stay very close for a long time to come.

But as my world usually does to me, I was suprised to see an egg lying around on the ground, lousy status bar, I forgot to bring you up again! I really need to start bringing the status bar up as soon as I start the game.

This is Clancy, Jack and Alice's first son, I was dissapointed to see yet another Pixie head, but I can't change what has been done, as soon as Clancy hatched I knew he was going to be far more energetic than my other, almost constantly exhausted Norns.

After a long look at the tasty tomatoes, without actually touching any, I finally got Clancy to start following me, I noticed he is very excited about everything around him, eager for me to tell him what it all is, but he can wait for his family to do that.

As this photo shows nicely Clancy has Hebe Norn body, legs and arms (and tail as you can see above.) with a Pixie Norn head, he looks excited to meet his family below, as soon as the lift gets to the bottom.

Of course the entire family was completely exhausted, this is starting to annoy me now, but sure enough Daisy walked over to see her brother, at least Clancy looks happy about meeting the family.

Next up to meet Clancy was Ayla, the oldest of the second generation Norns, as always she was uninterested and tired, this is starting to become an epidemic!

Then Alice came along, as always, Clancy, excited, family member, tired, it seems that Clancy is immune to this strange, contagious form of Insomnia!
Soon after Alice walked off to push Doozer around, I think the Doozer might be keeping everyone awake.

Finally, Clancy found his father, but almost immediately after Jack fell fast asleep right behind him, standing up, but Clancy doesn't seem to mind, he seems to enjoy being around his family whether they like it or not.

Now, with another male around, Albia is safe to continue for generations to come (hopefully) but can this epidemic of Insomnia be stopped, can the Norns learn to sleep after playing around, lets hope so! :)

Happy New Year!

That's right it's finally 2011 (GMT +10) hopefully this year will be a great one for the CC, a nice boost before in numbers will do wonders for the community. So let's hope that CCSF 2011, The Community Scribble, (Name Pending) Awards and any other community releases or events stay strong for the coming year.

Sneaky, sneaky norn

Today started like any other day, walking back and forth, eating food, tickling, getting mad, sleeping, getting mad again etc. To try and get my Norns somewhere I injected the Helicopter, but my Norns, being the unadventurous type, probably won't even get to the desert, let alone enter the Heli.

All was well, Ayla and Alice were playing together, Jack was chasing a Doozer to and fro, but I was getting rather bored of this daily routine I just wish they would go somewhere. *sigh*

I was watching Ayla playing around with a doozer while Alice and Jack had some time to themselves near the teleporter, later on I realised I forgot to open the status bar (why can't it stay open?) so I opened it up and was welcomed with and egg event, excited I clicked and look what I saw.

Jack is looking rather cheeky, but I was interested in the egg, only to find that it was behind the post, cheeky Jack must have hidden it from me!

But, as you tend to do with I new egg I rushed to the incubator, I started to wonder what this new baby would like like, would they look like Jack or Alice? Another Hebe head would be a nice sight.

This is Daisy, she looks almost exactly like her sister, Ayla. As an egg she was sneaky, hiding behind a post. But this sneakiness continues after hatching as she sneaks up on her tired family. I wondered how ecstatic they would be about their new family member.

Strangely Alice and Jack seemed to take no notice of her, perhaps they thought they were seeing doubles! But Daisy (Left) and Ayla (Right) clicked right away, Ayla started to show her younger sister around their home, they look so happy just to be spending time with each other! It's a shame Alice barely notices Daisy's existence!

But as ending on a happy note is always preferable, Alice woke up from her nap and was so happy to have another daughter to teach. Current Mother/Daughter activities include, toys, chasing Doozers and pushing buttons.

But Albia could be facing a crisis! If Jack were to pass on without any male children there would be no hope for Albia! (Except for the Hatchery) Hopefully a little boy will be on his way soon.

Unfortunatley I missed a great shot with Ayla and Daisy lying down smiling at each other, it almost looked like a mirror shot, missed it because of me being a little (well, alot) OCD about having speech bubbles in pictures. :(
